Curriculum Vitae
Ivan Aleksi received his diploma in electrical engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) from the University of Osijek, at the faculty of Electrical Engineering in December 2006. Since February 2007 he is working as a teaching and a research assistant at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Osijek. He has done some research work in the area of the vehicle routing problems. His Diploma thesis addressed the problem of step sequence planning for biped walking robots. Since August 2010 he is working as a research associate in the Institute of Water-Acoustics, Sonar-Engineering and Signal-Theory (IWSS) at the Hochschule Bremen (University of Applied Sciences). He is working towards his PhD degree in the field of sonar signal and image processing, where he is especially interested in the FPGA implementations of the sonar signal processing and the beamforming.
