Curriculum Vitae
Martin Walzer received the diploma degree in electrical engineering and information technology (Dipl.-Ing.) from Darmstadt University of Technology, Germany in August 2010.

In 2008 he finished his Studienarbeit (Student’s Research Project) in the field of "Through the Wall Radar Imaging" at the Institute of Telecommunications within the Signal Processing Group (SPG) at TU Darmstadt.

His diploma thesis entitled "Development of Accurate Time Delay Estimation Algorithms for Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Sonar" results from a collaboration between the SPG and Atlas Elektronik GmbH in Bremen. After his graduation he continued working on the project of interferometric sonar systems at Atlas Elektronik.

Since January, 2011 he is working as a research associate at Rheinmetall Defence Electronics GmbH in Bremen in collaboration with the Institute of Water-Acoustics, Sonar-Engineering and Signal-Theory (IWSS) at the Hochschule Bremen (University of Applied Sciences). He is working towards his PhD degree and concentrates on adaptive noise cancellation for acoustic sensor arrays for source localization.
